Thomas Stimm

1948 Vienna

Thomas Stimm was born in Vienna in 1948. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, as well as the College of Fine Arts in Hamburg. Between 1974 and 1976 he worked as Max Weiler’s assistant. In 1955 he was given a guest professorship at the art college in Bremen and he later became a teacher at the Claremont School of Art in Perth in 1997. Thomas Stimm still works and lives in Vienna and Cologne.
