Oskar Mulley

Klagenfurt 1891 - 1949 Garmisch

Oskar Mulley was born in Klagenfurt in 1891. He attended the Wiener Akademie and studied under Alois Delug and Rudolf Jettmar from 1910 to 1913.
Mulley lived in Kufstein from 1918 until 1934 and afterwards in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Mulley got known for his paintings showing landscapes and still lifes. His art shows effects of impressionism and decorative elements. He exhibited in the Künstlerhaus Wien in the year 1927 and was awarded the Wiener Volkspreis of the Wiener Künstlerhaus in 1929. Mulley became a member of the Wiener Künstlerhaus as well as of the Wiener Secession. He died on the 15. January 1949 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
