Georg Gerlach

Georg Gerlach’s versatile education took him to Austria and later to France and Italy. Among other things, the painter was a student at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and was also trained at the Austrian Museum of Art and Industry. He learned to consolidate and find his style at the Munich Academy. His work, which can be classified as Impressionist and is characterized above all by landscape and portrait painting, was exhibited at the Vienna Secession and the Vienna Künstlerhaus, amongst others.
